Thank God For Children!!!!

Not sure what happened there I just hope I have not screwed up my entire Blog site. Oh well if it was not for children some of us would not get up, we would hide in our beds and never get up. Some of us would try to run away from our days, hoping never to wake up but fortunately when you have children you have no choice but to rise above the selfish thoughts and feeling and move on go forward and just do life. I became extremely excited though with the snow we recieved yesterday the night before All Hallows Eve!!!Oh yes!!! It slowed down the plans of those who wanted to do naughty things, to their neighbours and even the elderly and those who cannot protect themselves. Then there is tonight well it is still cold enough to make the evening a short one. Myself well we will be going out to a movie as a family as that is the choice our boys have made for tonight and tomorrow low and behold through the magic of mommy there will be much candy on the table for them when they arrive home from school. How much better than that can it get. Keeps them safe, we have a family night out together and everybody is happy!!! My Riley looked so cute in his "BEAR IN THE BIG BLUE HOUSE" costume for his class party!! At one time Halloween was fun, no harm was done. Now we have to always be so careful as we don't know people as well as we would like think all are good!!! Well at the beginning of next week I will decorate my house for the next Joyous Season of all Christmas!!! How much fun that will be the house looks so nice then! I will also begin my Christmas cards and letter!!! Wow last year I could not wait for this day to come and now that it is here I have to say I am having a very difficult time with having all this time on my hands. I feel sad, like I have no purpose once the kids are off to school and I wait and wait for the children to return home. Then the noise picks up again. The noise of children how lovely it is. I never had this with Shawn as I either worked or was babysitting, now I'm so lonely and everything fell through with the three little girls I was so anxiously waiting to recieve. I'm just sad, its the time of year my grandmother would be here or have passed through and made her way up north and be calling to check in on me!! Now even with that there is no phone calls. Well another two hours and my little ones will be home and we will leave to have our evening at the movies. So maybe I'll do a little bit of house work, like vacuum, put laundry away and aort out an order from Partylite. Okay this is the update for the end of October. Will update again when the house is all decorated and ready for the Reason for the Next Season!!!! Yes even in my sadness I say THANK YOU GOD FOR CHILDREN!!!!!

Fall Cleaning is Done!!!!

Well the finishing touch finally done last night, I completed all the carpets in the house last night, basement and all. Only took all day to do them. So I will have a couple of weeks break then I will get out the Christmas/winter decor for the house. Generally aim to do this the first week of November with the Christmas tree going up the first week of December. This also helps to prepare in getting the cards done,list of baking that needs to begin in December as well. Oh how great it is to be organized again. I'm loving it!!! Now how long this time of leisure I have will last I am not sure as I am awaiting three little girls ages 5,3,2. Their room is also ready for them Yellow and White, with pink daisies;and Barbie comforters. Oh how exciting it was to get this room ready for little girls. After nineteen years of no girls I will have little girls in my home. They will be the best dressed and the cutest little ones around. I can't wait to start shopping. Oh YEAH!!!!! I'm sure some of you must think I am absolutely crazy, but those of you who really know me will share in the joy that is within my heart to be able to care for little girls. My boys are even looking forward to them coming, so this is good although I'm sure once reality sets in the simbling rivalry will begin oh what a joy it will be. Then of course there will be the joy of dealing with my family saying why did you do this, you shouldn't have to do this at your age; not really knowing the real me who loves children and loves to give to them especially those who have not had the choice of the paths laid before them because of lifes circumstances of the adults in charge. They really all do deserve happy childhoods, protected and to be kept safe. Well folks another busy day awaits me, run to the city to deliver Partylite, then returns to make, a visit to a long awaited baby girl and a visit to someone in the hospital. Now how much busier can you get than that for one day. Also have to get water and pick up some movies in Lorette. So that will be a very fulfilled day!

Turkey Season is Done!!!

Well I am sure we have all pondered what we are "Thankful For" not only for all the food we laid out for our little family that might have fed maybe 30 people for those lest fortunate than us here in Canada; the simple fact that we can go to bed at night and not have to worry if we will still be here in the a.m./or simply that we have nice warm blankets to cover us and how the list could simply just go on and on. Even our homeless are richer in some ways I think, but how would I know as I have not walked in their shoes. I am now almost also done all the fall cleaning and it will soon be time to decorate for the next joyous season. Oh work never ends and although we have much to be thankful for in this wonderful country that we are fortunate enough to live in I still have to say IF I HAD A MILLION DOLLARS.... OR EVEN JUST A LITTLE MORE MONEY TO SPEND WITHOUT QUESTION I WOULD HIRE A MAID FULL TIME AND SIMPLY ENJOY LIFE. How lovely that would be!!!! Well in the meantime I will simply just keep dreaming of the day that I do not have housework to do; and keep plugging away at keeping myself busy with the this and that of maintaining my home. Before I start my rugs I am going back to bed it is now quiet in the house, now how lazy is that to start my week. Once I'm up I'll complete my rugs, paint a closet, and then just clean up a little. So even though its the morning I have to see I'll see you all in dreamland!!!!
